Strawberry Crush

One of my favorite pies I created for Vino Cotto it’s a wine syrup. Strawberry Crush .



Here’s the recipe that I said you’ll find…

2 cups of strawberries
1 cup of white wine
1 Tablespoon of Tapioca
2 Tablespoons of Vino Cotto (it’s a wine syrup)

Put the filling into your favorite pie crust or even suggested by Deena Montillo to put in a puff pastry shell.
Bake at 400-425 degrees, it will depend upon your oven on how hot it gets..for 30-35 minutes, until the pie is brown.

Make sure all your fruit is thawed out, otherwise it will not cooked evenly.

Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream..

Oh my gosh. This looks delicious. I am so glad I found your site. My Husband and I love pies, but most we find ready made our too sweet, and have so many preservatives. What I like about this recipe is that it does not require tons of ingredients. Plus I can cheat and use a ready made crust. I cannot wait to run to the store and get my ingredients. I will let you know how it turns out. If it can win over my Family, you will have a fan for life!
