Pear Cake or Pie

This is my friend Georgette’s recipe – I’ve been able to spend a few days with her. It’s been a blast! I will miss her when I leave. 1.5 cups vegetable oil 2 cups sugar 3 cups flour 2 eggs 3 cups of pears chopped 1 cup walnuts 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt Mix together and put in a 9×12 pan.
