Eric said, we’re on a road trip that never ends – and we want you to join us. Along the way, you’re going to learn a few things and you’re going to have fun doing it. Yes, we’re talking about wine. But not just wine. This road trip we’re on together covers the entire world of food and drink. You pick the destination. We’ll point the way.
In 2000, we created LocalWineEvents.com to help you find food, wine, beer and spirits events near you – no matter where in the world you happen to be. We’re talking about dinners, tastings, festivals, classes and any other event that has a food/drink theme. New events are posted hourly, so you’ll never be bored on this worldwide road trip.
The 3rd event – Slow Food-South Bay an Edible Tree Walk
We’re going to do it again on Sunday, June 30, from 3-5 PM, except we’re going to walk around downtown Los Altos instead. We’ll meet at the library, visit the historic apricot orchard, then make a loop through a beautiful old neighborhood with lots of story-ful trees. Expect the permaculturist, the food nerd and the chef to be in fine fettle for what will be another great Edible Tree Walk. To register

The 9th Annual National Heirloom Exposition will be the center of attention in Santa Rosa, California, on September 10, 11, & 12, 2019!
What began in 2011 as a celebration of pure food and sustainable living has developed into an impressive event that annually draws upwards of 20,000 participants. Featuring the largest display of heritage produce, the Expo now focuses on the preservation of heirloom foods without genetic modification. Many individual and commercial growers supply an abundance of fruits and vegetables for exhibiting and tasting. Located at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa on September 10, 11 & 12, the event has become known as the “World’s Fair of Pure Food.”
