Boss Appreciation Day is on October 16, now that most of us are working at home are you going to appreciate your boss? How about appreciating you.
Maybe it should be a day where we appreciate everyone.
The day was founded by Patricia Bays Haroski, then an employee at State Farm Insurance Company in Deerfield, Illinois. Back in 1958.
Guess who her boss was?
Her father, it was a special day, because it was her father’s birthday.
Many things have changed since then, bosses day isn’t really celebrated. The general consensus of those opposing this day is that employees should not feel obligated to celebrate or purchase gifts for their employers, since they make more money that the employees.
Then October 17th, is the Sweetest Day, the day when you eat something sweet, or perhaps something beautiful like flowers will safe the day.
